well of course comic book people would say its bad, they are probably looking for anything that isn't from the book in the movie or anything that was not included.

i feel for most people who didn't like it, probably didn't understand it so they are confused and just give the rating a low score


i think watchmen was a great movie and i really enjoyed it. (9/10)
-coming from someone who doesn't read graphic novels/comic
-takes time to understand movies and looking up all the shit on Wikipedia(lol)

I've read the book + watched the movie. I would say it def. did it justice. Some of it was cut out or changed because of time-purposes (it's already a three-hour long movie..)



If you didn't like, there is a large (and most probable chance) that it was way above you. It's not an "action" movie by any means. Everything in it has a deeper meaning from a nihilistic psychopath to a blue super being who gradually dresses less and less throughout the movie (yes, there was a reason to see his genitals. It represents his distance he's broken away from humanity. As in, when he was first became what he was or was in Vietnam.. he covered up)

I liked it way more than the Dark Knight. Don't get me wrong, DK had great acting and plot sequence, but realistically an individual who faced an awful past, is a vigilante, and wears a costume to fight crime wouldn't be Batman. He'd be a lunatic: Rorschach. And that is what Watchmen portrays.

Don't except it to spoon-feed you every single detail about everything. It's thought-provoking!!!!!

i dunno, every now and then i'd like the movie, but i was REALLY hyped up for it cuz damn, the trailer showed all the action so i was thinking it was an action flick, i never read the comic, i just really wanted an action flick lol, there's my reason for being disappointed
