But yeah, you can't really make points against something that's geared to someones liking. Xbox live owns PS3 online network... hardcore. It's great for gaming (with tons of games and shite), but I really don't care for it (I have a brutal PC for that). Instead I the PS3, which I can put on my living room TV, and can browse the web running Linux and play music through it, or watch a hi-def movie, or when MGS4 comes out, a little action when I'm bored. It gears towards what I want, the 360, not so much (though they do have a great assortment of games which does make me want one).


And the Wii was not at all what I expected. I've had it for about a month now, and it's just sitting there. Bought it to play some FPS games but I was left with... Mario Party 8. Not my thing.

there is a reason that consoles are different than pc's. The fact that a pc is something that you could use everyday and do everyday tasks like work, surf the net, and goof around is nothing like a console where its more for fun and all. They can try to imitate a pc but never will.

p.s. you cant upgrade the inside of a console.

First off, hows your Xbox situation Rice?

If I ever had an opinion, Id say Id get a PS3 just for the sake of FF and MGS4, over the 360 for Halo 3.

The new Tactics is going to be on the PSP (fuck sony and their bullshit), and 13 on the PS3. Dont know about 13, but tactics sounds good..

But obviously, SSBB(maybe) and MGS4 are on my big list of things to get.

I love the games on the PS series, but I detest Sony. They are nothing but a bunch of assholes who inconvenience their customers so much its like they like it.

With the exception of TES and Halo 1, I wasnt impressed with the line of games on the Xbox. MGS2 Substance on the Xbox isnt too bad though.

Assassin's creed will kick halo's ass, it might not have all those awesome fan boys (sarcasm) but it will be so much better. I know its on ps3 as well but notice the development team doesn't demo it on the ps3.

And Im sure corn will back me up here, GH3 < all.

Yeah, Halo may not be THE game for the Xbox, but like I said, I wasn't all that impressed. Who knows? Maybe games like Assassins Creed, etc. could change my perspective.
