Nooooooo! It finaly happend! I got the red ring of death!...I was playin Gta4 and alll of the sudden, The lights went from green to red. The Xbox was on but the T.V. wasent! I jumped up quickly and turnd it off. and now im afraid to see if its temperary or if its perminent...THIS SUCKS!!!! :x :evil:

i got mine december 19, 2007 still no red ring of death, you shouldn't play that thing for endless hours, play it for a couple of hours then play, i've only heard of permanent red ring's so good luck w/ ur future xbox

Rolled. Just send it back to Microsoft and DEMAND it to be repaired or ask for a new one. I did both of those and ended up getting a free Project Gotham Racing game and a new Xbox!

cursed, there are two types. the permanent one has 3 red rings, and the non-permanent is 4. i think lol. but i know for a fact there are 2 types.

well i got it to work again but im afraid to get the rings again so ima stick to Cz....oh and btw i had 3 rings but its not permanent....you might have it backwords....or i just got lucky 8)
