mgs4 or cod4?

at gamestop u can do the 2 trade ins and get either of those games for 20$
(trading in simpsons game and time crisis 4, both suck)

my friend who i play with has both, says both are amazing, but i dont have that kind of cash, for mgs4, have never played any of them, was gonna read up on the story, and never played a cod, but no storyline there. recommendations?

edit: also have a 40gig so even if i bought the other mgs games for ps, couldnt play on my ps3 (other than that i have a destroyed gamecube)

If your going to buy MGS4 I would suggest playing the first games. If you haven't played them, buy COD4

you could've made a poll, but i played COD4 it was ok, not that great, as for MGS4, never played it, or any of the other MGS games, but, i'd prolly go for MGS4, mainly cuz it actually has a storyline and it looks alot better

MGS4.

You don't really need to know all of the previous games. It helps to understand it better, but MGS4 has it's own story line...


Plus I love Stealth Espionage, good stuff.

Yea, you don't need to play previous but it helps a lot. Like the new bosses "beauty and the beast" the names of the bosses are from previous bosses on mgs series. You don't need to but im sure that it would make it more enjoyable.

It does have it's lengthy cut scenes but nah, it adds a lot to the game. You actually "feel" it. Reaper just likes COD4 more because it's the only game to star a British person as the main character.

That and he's the biggest 360 fan boy I know... :shock:

MGS4, although a movie, is better than Cod. Cod's gonna be outdated soon anyway. real shooters get pumped out like nobody's buisness.
