Ya I use D'addario light nickel wounded string.

But Gigi do you play....

1. Acoustic Guitar
a) Classical
b) Steel String

2. Electric Guitar
a) Fixed Bridge
b) Floating Bridge

or (which is most likely the case :D)

3. Banjo

Type of strings varies between what kind of guitar you have, and what kind of music you play. For example, the thicker your strings are the more "thump" you get. Heavy strings are common in funk, as light is common in metal. Any type of other genre I'd have no idea on.

Aw I see. TY

I wanna try all kinds since I don't know what kind of music I will be playing. Gotta learn how to change strings. lol Read that a guy took all the strings out at the same time and the guitar fell apart :/

Scared that's gonna happen for me too if I change the strings haha

Mann, playing guitar again on an acoustic when you havent played in 4-5 years, is bad.

Only can remember the beginning of Coldplay - In My Place :/

This is what i was talking about with flatwound vs roundwound. I found that it tended to make my fingers hurt less in the begining, then i eventually switched over to halfround strings (only way to get that dimebag dive).

1 string at a time on the Ibanez with Floating trem. Or any guitar with floating trem.

If you are going with bigger strings on the Ibanez and it does have the floating trem, you will want to take out the 4 screws on the back plate and look for the Two Large screws that hold the plate where the springs hook on(this is the side closest to the neck). When you find the TWO LARGE screws you will screw them in a bit(righty-tighty) to pull the springs towards the neck.

If you tune Standard w/o doing the above, your trem will raise way up and the strings will come off of the fretboard alot.

It would be possible to leave the springs as they are and tune the guitar to a lower tuning, but even then things might not level out.

If your like me, you stick a 9 volt batter behind the trem bottom and tune to whatever you want!!!

I pretty much have it down but my fingers get tired really quickly so I start to slow down instead of maintaining speed lol. The string skipping wears me out. Gimme a few more days and I'll probably put a video up.

Have you tried any of the below remedies?:

Sucking it up.
Taking it like a man.
Walking it off.
Rubbing some dirt on it.

Good God man!

I want some tasty riffs. Please grow a pair and get this shits done!

;)
