Post subject:  Inauguration Day...
Yeah, so my school is making us watch the inauguration from 11:30 to 2:00 since it's a big change in history. Kinda sucks because I'm gonna end up sleeping while we watch it. It's that I don't hate Obama or anything, it's that politics bore me so bad. After watching that thing, we're gonna discuss in class and that's gonna bore me even more. Only good thing to it is that I miss 2 & 1/2 classes.

I fail to see how this is even remotely significant. Barack is nothing more than a man.

I fail to see how the color of his skin will help him do his job any better. He doesn't get a free pass because he's half black/half white. He has a HUGE job ahead of him cleaning up the mess that Congress has made. Though I didn't vote for him, I hope he is successful.

I think its funny that even IF he is one of the most successful Presidents of all time, He will be defined in the history books by the color of his skin.

No one is saying that he will do good or not. It's just change in history where it says that even a man of color can achieve being a president. Simple as that. Now let's get an atheist in the white house. That's the real challenge.
