Have a practice exam,some questions are about the French Revolution and one question is: The French Revolution was the end of what type of society? It was the victory of what type of society? Explain I know it was the end of feudalism, but not sure what the second part of the question is... I don't have any notes talking about what it is either!!! Any help would be awesome. I know some of you know about history, so I thought i'd post and see if you guys can help! Thanks  <3

My teacher doesn't believe in textbooks :\, so he only gives us notes....It's a very hard class... I'm getting better at taking notes. And I don't know what you mean cursed. Classless society? He never talked about it when I was there. |

really? we learned about it hardcore, but then again we have textbooks, so idk what material he's teaching you, fyi, if the school uses textbooks and he's not, you can take this up to the school board cuz for all we know he could be teaching stuff that's never happened in history, i mean, how else did he learn this? |

blah, I did this during sophomore year, I barely remember it. I'm pretty sure there was the reign of terror after the revolution though. Funny french people. |

http://wiki.answers.com/ VERY helpful link. I just used that to finish my take home test and probably took me 3 times faster than if I used my textbook. I didn't think they would have answer but they had answers for almost all of the questions. |

there was a brief bicameral legislature like the one we have here, but they eventually fail and napoleon makes it a dictatorship. So a little democracy then dictatorship. IIRC |

I think some middle class too?

Yea... he asks questions about The Bourgeisie, Robspierre, Reign of Terror, Napoleon spreading anti-feudal ideas... We are also learning about different forms of goverments, and how certain people in history like certain goverments, and also the industrial rev. its way too much to handle.... :/ 
We also learned how a bank makes money LOL which was interesting. Cursed How do you know something is right just because it's from a text book... |
