Bummer, that's a real drag. I hope the operation goes well, and as Stork said - luckily it isn't as severe as it could be.

I hope the guy gets what's coming towards him. Shame he can't man up to it. Otherwise, I hope everything goes well and your back on the bike. I used to show people your race videos and be like ".... yeah, I know this guy."

Dag yo that does not by anymeans look close to normal sticking that far out. I hope you can get that nastyness fixed and recover well from it. So this "he clipped me" stuff , will it affect you in anyway?

btw I just wanted to say, aside from that bone, the rest of your insides look pretty dang good though

Ive wrecked the car 3 times
and I have not had a injury from it
but 3 of my friends have had serious injuries
on bikes and I don't think they are safe to
do anything on.

Yes bike are more dangerous, and extremely more dangerous in the wrong hands. Id rather ride on the track, rather than the street though, no cars to hit me.

would you not recommend getting a bike instead of say..a first car?I was thinking about it but wanted an outside opinion from someone who's more experienced and all.
Really sorry about your accident too, xray thing looked pretty crazy. Hope it all heals up alright.

That's the thing that scares me about riding a bike. Not that I will kill myself driving it, but someone else killing me.

Sorry to hear about the accident Cole. I hope you take the Dr's advice and have that surgery soon to have your arm taken care of. Good knowing you're doing ok after that accident.

About that guy not taking responsibility. Well you have proof in that video. If that doesn't convince people that see it then to hell with their opinions. I know its hard not to take this personally but just be glad you got out of this in one piece, thats the most important thing. I'm pretty sure though people will change their minds after reading your post, and hopefully things will fall in place.

Now about your decision to give up on racing, I really hope you don't. This is just a bump that will slow you down for a few months but wait till you feel better about this whole thing before taking a rash decision. This same advice I told Chris when he got injured in soccer. If racing is what you love, don't be put down by fucking idiots that race with you, just do it! Nike.

Sword, I can always pick it back up whenever I want, my body says it needs a break.

I got the all clear today to skip surgery, checking on it in a month to see if it heals correctly and then decide if I need it adjusted or not.

And Face, bike are only for people who know how to drive like they are invisible, drivers have adapted to look for wide short objects (cars) not tall skinny (bikes) and literally seem like they are TRYING to kill you, you must always have an escape plan. I would start with a car, and if you don't know how to drive a street bike, start on a small dirt bike, learn the controls until it takes no thought and you can drive smoothly. Then very carefully try it on a bike with 50x the horsepower lol.

I want to get a bike. That'd be so sick. I can be like those douche-hats who drive on the side of the roads really fast or on bridges and freeways and shit. :D

I'm the fuzz! If it's one thing I know is that that's neither smart nor cool. Do you know a what a body that hits a tree looks like after having a wreck on a bike going 90+? Don't do it.

Like the others said, I'm glad your still in one piece. That's what matters most. For the accident, I saw the video and clearly you can tell it was the other guy that hit you. Hope you'll get on the bike again and pwn noobies on cz.
