Hmmm what if this offsets the moons course around the earth and causes tides to change, or worse the moon completely goes until it finds another planet to orbit be ause of the impact being to strong.

Skeptical thinking ftw.

Ask yourself what would chuck Norris do?

Again, if you read the article, this object is hundreds of times smaller than meteors that hit the moon, this is the equivalent of you throwing a ping pong ball at a brick wall.

Well I definitely think this is a good thing, the Earth is going to end one day whether we like it or not so the quicker we start doing these kinds of things the better.

Only Chuck Norris or a meteor the size of a small country could do that =/ I think. I'm no Astro-physicist.

It's a good thing I didn't wake up this morning so I could watch it happen live on NASA tv. Apparently the live images were not broadcasted as they promised.. NASA = fail.
