I just pre-ordered this game. Looks good. This is what really gets me.

Wikipedia:
According to them, the Debug menu listed the total number of weapons in the game as 3,166,880.[8] However, the developers have stated that they have stopped counting how many guns were in the game after they got up to 17 million.

Seems too MMORPG to me, all the leveling up and such, I am not a fan of drudge games. If they have a demo for it, I will check that out.

It's primarily an FPS. There is no dice-roll hidden in game. The only critical shots that you get are the head shots that you make with your skill. Simple enough?

Yeah, I get it... To explain: I am playing Arkham Asylum right now, and it has an xp system, where you buy more armor and shit to upgrade batman. This is pushing it for me already, I'm cool with it, but I do not like games that don't let you get all your shit. If I finish the game, got every single item out there in the game, yet could not upgrade my character with all the options, then I will be pissed. I do not like missing out on stuff.

Borderland has 4 different classes of people, meaning for me (being so OCD) to finish this game I will have to play it 4 times, but wait, each class has 2 upgrade paths, so 8 times. If the game is really really fun, then this will be awesome. If the game is a drudge game, where you walk around doing the same shit over and over, for points, so you can buy shit, so you can get more points, to buy more shit... then I will pass (WOW = DRUDGE = FAIL). I hate games that make you feel like you have to work, I have enough work to do at my job.

I really, really hope this game will be much like Serious Sam. That games random repetitiveness sided with all the humor was outstanding.

Quite the fair opinion, sir. I do hope that Borderlands turns out nothing like WOW, as I will be sorely disappointed and will hastily drop the game in the trash bin. My impression thus far has led me to believe that its purpose is not the same. I, however, could very well be wrong.

I suppose we'll see in due time?

Saw the commercial last night. Somewhat reminds me of Team Fortress (not the storyline but the way they stick together). Enjoy the game Auto.

Will do! I'll test it for you guys so you don't have to spend 50 dollars like me. The game will be awesome (positive waves).
