Yeh it was a seasonal flu shot, but really it's a shame seeing someone perfectly normal turn to that =[, and seasonal flu shots seem more safe rather than H1N1 vaccines, so if a seasonal flu shot does that to someone what would happen if you took a new made vaccination? D:!

Another thing I wanted to ask people was : Anyone think that the H1N1 and H5N1 were man made?

My dad pointed out this really weird and bizarre thing, he said (Cantonese to english translation from what he had said) " Notice how Mad cow disease came out on the year of the cow (asian zodiac) and notice how avian flu (H5N1) was made during the year of the rooster and now swine flu came after the year of the pig.

His friend had said something about USA gouvernment trying to eliminate the chinese, thus SARS and stuff as well as the whole zodiac alligning with the years of the chinese zodiac. But thats their opinions and weird facts, what do you guys think?

It was not a problem with her flu shot, it was just a reaction to the flu shot that triggered her body to fuck up

It's like a one in a million thing

i don't need that crap >.> whenever i take a flu shot (i expect this to be the same) i get sick from the virus i get vaccinated with. I mean i don't get the cold until they give me the virus in the bloodstream.. otherwise, i barely every get sick..

I'm not going to scramble for the vaccine. I just don't see any point in it. And the information seems very inconsistent. I'm just not playing into this scare.

Also, on a lighter note, my Mad Cow Disease will fight it off if need be.
(See what I did there? Because I was born in England? Because I'm on that list where it's illegal for me to give blood within the U.S. for the rest of my life? Funny, right? No? Oh... Well, fuck you, too...)

The thing about too much mercury is bullcrap . The amount of mercury is too low to negatively affect human condition. The dose makes the poison. As for the H1N1 vaccine I would get it if I had the time and if I wasn't lazy. Even though the death toll for America is 1000 people and 20,000 infected. My reasoning for getting it is not because I will die if I don't, but I could potentially infect someone who could die because of it. Just imagine how many people you can infect before knowing.

As for the girl that got that, that really sucks for her. Rare to get that.

I am getting the shot tomorrow.

Although H1N1 right now has a very low death rate, it can mutate into a more resistant and deadly strain as it gets passed on and on from people who have not received the vaccination. As with any vaccine there are a list of side-effects. The H1N1 list of side effects is the same as that for seasonal influenza, tetanus, hepatitis, etc.

All of this other conspiracy theory shit is just that, shit.

Suuure, don't get the shot. Just don't go complaining about how you weren't warned when you get real sick.

Besides everyone knows the American government is trying to eliminate Canadians because they want our oil and fresh water glaciers not the Chinese..

Well I already got the flu mist the other day. No problems there. I'll get H1N1 when my chain of command tells me to get it. Not because I'm afraid it'll screw my body up, but going to SHAPE for a stupid shot is a waste of time and gas. Oh well if I need to that'll give me the nudge to get my annual Anthrax vaccine booster.

I believe a vaccine is basically a weakened form of the virus so that your body would be able to create antibodies to fight against the real thing if it ever invades your body. So flu shot is basically a weakened form of the flu, and often times the patient will experience some symptoms of a cold/flu. HOWEVER, its a pity this women experienced side effects.

Yeah, as everyone else said, she already had this condition, it would of shown up the next time she got sick or put any strain on her body. That sucks, hope they can find some treatment for her in the future.

As for the flu, I cant get it (flu immune), so yea, not worried about it.
