Dude if I saw a guy with only a right ear piercing I would call him gay and not stop laughing for a whole day. Tongue on a guy is as gay as queer and emo you can get. I'd be pissed if i passed out at a party and woke up with my ears pierced. Chances are your ears are going to get infected. I'd take them out and wash them a couple of times. also put lemon juice or alcohol on your ears to clean them.

If you get a tattoo, get it on your back, or in a place that you can wear Tshirt and shorts and still hide it, you will thank yourself later in life.

If you get a piercing don't drop below 12-10ga you don't want a hole in your your entire life (as Chris said). Some chicks like tongue, but if you know what you are doing, you won't need it. Snakebites or whatever are more of a fad, they will go away after a bit, but if you get a tiny piercing you can take it out whenever, your choice (but they do look kinda emo and may be the hardest to convince your parents to be ok with it). Get what you want, just keep in mind that you will want to be able to hide/remove that stuff to get a job after highschool/college where someone will take you seriously.
