I like my current iphone, but the shattered screen will cost me about $80 to fix (diffuser+lcd), or I can get an 8gb 3gs for $100 or the new one (plenty of improvements) for $200. I understand that I could get a android phone, but I have fully setup everything I want/need on my current phone, and swapping to the new one will be pain free, I do not have time to re-learn how to use my phone if I got a different brand.

I am not a fan of apple PC's but their phones are just what I want, in a few years that may change.

iPhones are a trend are its a good trend. I love my iPhone and it's one of the tangible items I need everyday in my life. I'm using a 3G right now but I'm in no rush to upgrade :Po I thought that I wouldn't get the iPhone 4 ever but after reading the specs and features, I'm most likely gonna buy it in a few months due to price. I love my iPhone 3G but too bad I can do some things when iOS 4 releases since some things such as multitasking, etc... wont be possible D:

Yeah Im still not sure what I want to do. The 3G works very well so theres really no need to switch. It does so much more than most phones so I really wont know the diiference.

I would be keeping my 3g if it were not broken, but in a year from now, even if I had my 3g, I would want to pick up a iphone 4 for $99

The 3G will only be good as long as Steve thinks it should still be around. See Iphone 1.0. There's several features that could have been pushed to it, but he just said fuck you, you need to upgrade if you want to continue to play in our sandbox.
