Yes skip it because its a Arena DLC

Small Tournament - 5 waves of enemies per round with five rounds in total. (Estimated length: 45 minutes)
Big Tournament - 5 waves of enemies per round with 20 rounds in total. (Estimated length: 4 hours)

No because well i dont know how addicted to the game you are but if you havent found out the max level is 61 which in the skill point catagory you spend 5 on your action skill that means you have 56 total skill points to spend for the rest of your skills BUT their are 105 skill points that are avalible (not including the 5 for the action skill) on your charater so doing the math their will be 49 skill points you cant use at the moment because the max level is 61

WITH that being said IF you do beat Mad Moxxi's Arena you get one skill point because Mad Moxxi's Arena is a Mission so i have yet to beat it because big tournament takes anywere from 2-5 hours AND theirs no checkpoints you die you start all over but having teammates i heard makes it easyer so if you are on the edge of getting this DLC their a HUGE reward but to get it takes MANY hours to complete due to the fact theris no checkpoints

Oh forgot to mention theirs a Bank for you to store 42 weapons and/or items so if anyone is on the fence about this im not telling you to buy it but the pro's definatly out weight the con's (one skill point for completing Mad Moxxi's Mission and a 42 weapon/item bank )

And another thing the loot reward system after completeing rounds is pretty nice and yeah i have found highly rare weapons that are nearly unbelieveable
