The house I live at is having the roof redone, and we have recently run into a snag. They left a bunch of shit lying around( been here for 2-3 weeks) on our back porch as they've taken their sweet ass time getting our roof fixed. The job itself sucks, so I feel bad for them, but this is something I can't let slide. My friend moved some big black folded thing they had sitting on a pallet onto our shitty old basketball goal so we could play on it drunk. The black things are apparently the stuff they put under shingles on the roof. I should have prefaced this by saying I don't know shit about roofs, not my area, I'll just bite the bullet and pay someone to do that crap for me. back on topic, we get here today and the workers complained that they were "ruined" and that they need to buy totally new ones. I can't help but think bull shit. Does anyone here know anything about that kind of stuff? I'm going to go google hunting after this, but I figure a bulletin here couldn't hurt since I'm on a wild goose chase. |
