Alright, I'm involved with theatre at my highschool. The fall play was just casted and we had our first read-through today.
I play a guy called Steve Sankey. He collects money from the people in the neighborhood who buy milk. He has to collect before the milkman comes around and gives out more.
This guy is having an affair with someone who is also married. What's funny is, this guy has an extremely happy-go-lucky demeanor, always smiling, kinda fake, always showing up at random times and stuff like that.
There's this one scene where all I do is walk by, vomit sunshine, and walk out with a smile and a wave....So people started to improv my overly joyous character. The first thing I do is shout, "I'm Smiling Bob!" And begin to imitate the commercials, and whistle. I pretty much had the place in stitches. One kid came up to me after the whole thing was done and said,"Dude, I'll always see you as Smiling Bob now!"
Chris, you have a student
