That's much better than having tendons stolen for American surgeries.

According to a radiologist I know, there's a good possibility that my new ACL is a Achilles tendon from a prisoner in China.

I bet they STOLE my account.

I literally just had an email from Blizz saying:

"Following our investigation, we have located and reimbursed your missing items and where possible, your gold as well. This has been sent to the characters affected by the compromise via in-game mail. "

I thought, WTF - I searched my inbox and junk for any Blizz emails, I had two.

1 was a scam blizzard email, luckily I didn't send anything cos' I'm not stupid.

1 was saying 'reset the password for the Battle.net account associated with this email address' - Had to make a new password apparently.


I logged into my account, in a new place, shit loads of gold and herbs and then whatever had been given back to me by Blizz. I'm still unsure on how they got my password though - seriously.

I know tons of peeps (computer literate ones) that got their acc.s hacked. All have been restored, but sometimes it can be a real hassle getting it back.

I recommend getting a blizz identifier (or whatever it's called), if you play WoW regularly. I'm pretty sure those are fail-safe in protecting acc's

Luckily I don't play WoW regularly anymore. The hacker could have been playing on my account til the end of the month if I didn't get the email from Blizzard, quite shocked to be honest. But if anything, he's helped me out - Got my Herb level up, more gold, herb items, two achievements. /sorted

Oh they're fake? I never bothered to completely open them aside from reading the mail preview. I received a blizzard email ordering my Acct to stop spamming advertisements (about mining) o they'll shut down my Acct. Then I got one saying they did I think. I never looked into it so I don't play.
