So, I know that there is an American version of Top Gear and has been for the past few months. So curiously wondering, how many here watch the show, and who prefers which version, the british one or the american?

Favourite episode or scene so far?

I've actually been watching every episode recently on netflix. Imo, top gear US is rubbish. UK all the way.

My favorite one BTW Stormz was when they had the 3 SUVs that they were to drive across 1000 miles of the Amazon Rainforest.

Ah, yes. I remember that good. It was a very good episode,

One of my favourite ones was the UK vs Australia episodes, nice seeing a Jaguar engine imported to a White Ford Transit Van that hard workers use. Or my other favourite episodes which I recommend ANY TG fan to watch are the two Christmas specials for the xmas just gone, two different locations, US and Middle East and the Middle East episode was extremely good.

British version. The Gumball Race episode was fun. Also the one where Rowan Atkinson is randomly a great driver and tops the speed list?? Random

My favorite is the one where Jeremy Clarkson shows OBVIOUS bias over the American car.

That one was good.

Lexi - The Gumball Race episode was fun???? - Did the American do this one? Because I know for sure that the British Top Gear presenters have never done that, even though everyone wants them to do it.

I don't think anyone watches the "American" version, its not even close to the same show, I'll be surprised if its not canceled in a few months.

I tried to watch one episode but US Top Gear sucked. Not sure I could pick a favorite but some of the new stuff like season 17 or 18 is getting even better. Also if anyone is interested there is a documentary about Ayrton Senna on Netflix called Senna. Top Gear had a small segment about him in one of their episodes. I highly recommend watching it, the man was incredible.

It was def. the British one. Uhhh I totally thought that's what race it was! Oops. Duh, now that I think about it you're right...they raced each other across some countries lol. The older guy drove the gas guzzlin Jag and the short short guy drives I think a Viper? The other guy drove like the tiny Honda that crawled but good mileage. Sound familiar?

I caught an episode of UK TopGear on BBC America the other night. Each of the guys built their own limousine and used it to chauffeur a celeb to some awards show. It was hilarious.

How about we pretend they never re-did the show. Now that's established, since there is only one top gear, what does everyone think of top gear? I think its awesome :)
