Anyone have it yet? What's the word?

I bought it for Ethan for his birthday, but haven't had time to install it yet. Looking forward to seeing it in action tonight.

If you have bought it, list your Origin gamer tags below here.

The beta was okay. However, once you add campaign/new weapons/the unbunching of players/AND vehicles.. This game has a TON of potential!

Don't get into too big a hurry. EA Origin is shitting the bed. I can't login, and I can't get support to answer on chat, or phone. They're saying they've got over 1hr wait times on both. Everyone is posting on the forums that even when they get through to an agent, they are telling them to just keep trying.

I'd save the money for a few days. :/

well i mean, may as well get it now. the kinks will be worked out soon enough. honestly though, they should have waited a while longer for release, im hearing all sorts of bugs they are dealing with.

You have beta's to try to resolve issues like this beforehand. Also, you have a good idea how many people are going to purchase by looking at pre-order numbers. The servers being completely down on day one is whack. :/

Woah... bad idea Infamous. It was clear from the start of the beta that it was not going to be a smooth launch. It is absolutely horrid, bug wise. The whole screen stutters every time you move your mouse. Constantly crashes...
That's my two cents, go read forums, you'll have a good idea about how buggy it is. I'll let you know when it actually becomes playable.

Day3 of owning it, and still can't play. Spent 2 hours on the phone w/ tech support yesterday. Redownloading all updates this am, while their servers arent down.

I been playing it. It is fairly fun when you get it to work. I been getting so many disconnects and errors though.

Only issue i've had with it so far is server lag, only seems to happen on bigger maps within the 64 player servers. and sometimes the battlelog website gives me this stupid error, but it seems to go away after a relaunch

I played for 5 minutes last night(while Ethan was doing homework). Came out to tell him how awesome it was, and it crashed before he could get there. Couldn't get into multiplayer after that, as the Authentication servers crashed. :/

So. 4 days since his birthday. He still hasn't been able to play with his birthday present from me. :/

Kinda sucks that this is happening. Battlefield 3 should be a big game, and could be a defeater against CoD as such, in wise of gameplay, graphics and so on.

You would have thought a massive company like EA would have figured this all out before releasing the official game. Definitely putting me off buying the game at the moment

Yeah it is very shocking how much of the game still is bugged. Seeing how messy it was during the beta they should've realized they needed more time on it instead of rushing the release date. Although they are working on the bugs, it's something they shouldn't have to be working on at this moment. Agree that it is a bad move on their part.
