I read they're going to send out more beta keys to the most active players on older CS games. I also read they're sending out a survey (not sure where or how you fill it out) that might get you in. Not sure when they're going open but I'm checking sites every day for news. I'm at my limit with APB and the cesspool of a community it has. I'm fairly certain if most of the people I've played with on APB had been in the pub at some point they'd have been ip banned. And League of Legends is no better imo. Anyone in the beta, have any news on how the game play is?

I read this the other day on the site. It saddens me that they are just opening up the beta to all yet. But I check the developers Twitter on the daily just to stay informed. I WANT THAT SHIT TO OPEN UP. And i read also they are opening up testing for servers, but you have to be in the beta to do so...

The one thing I do like about the long wait is that I know they're trying to make this as good as they can before sending it out.

Yeah they have a Q&A on the CS:GO site and they say they'll keep it in Beta as long as they need to.

Edit: Link for said Q&A if anyone was interested http://www.counter-strike.net/index.php/facts/

If you don't enjoy CS:Source, you wont find CS:GO fun.
If you don't enjoy CS 1.6, you wont find CS:CZ fun
Its the same game, with updates :P Honetly, I tried to play GO, I played a few maps, it just didn't grab my attention.

I didn't like CS:Source but I did find CS:GO pretty good to be honest - I haven't played the beta for quite a while now though, so will be interesting when I can pop on and test any new updates they have brought up since it first came out.

Anyone seen bits for the CS:GO Competition game? http://kotaku.com/5885579/counter+strik ... his-spring

Tactical Intervention looks pretty bad though (looks wise). Looks older than CS:source, but the gameplay looks to have much more to it than CS, which is a good thing. He has been working on this game forever though.

From what I've read their trying as hard as possible to make it the best they can for everyone, they're also consulting pro 1.6 players. I hope they're going for a replacement to 1.6 in tournaments and trying to make this game as perfect as they can. All I want is a hook mod....

I still enjoy CSS. It's just lack of friends playing the game. If all my friends do play CS:GO, I'll be plenty excited for it and have a blast playing with them and same goes for splak
