Going to be going to MEPS soon! I think corn was right about the counter strike military thing in PJ's post.

Currently jobs haven't been selected I'm going to be taking my ASVAB and EDPT, but confident I'll score fairly high. I'm looking into their 3D category of AFSC's (equivalent of MOS's).

I'm at Lackland right now, where you'll be going to basic airman training or what ever they call it. I love messing with the trainees. I love it even more that they are airforce and I'm army, so I'm consistently called, "sir." Once I hear that I make every effort possible to embarrass the trainee. Lulz, <3 trainees.

No way! How long do you think you'll be there?

I'll fly back on Wednesday as soon as I receive my "Investigator" status. Ah, yes, hardest friggin school ever, pain in the Ace (<--haha) to do. Even if I were here I doubt you'd have much else to do than be miserable, lol.

Good luck mate... I tried out for the British Royal Air Force, but unfortunately been dismissed on medical ground which is kinda bull, but rules are rules. Trying out again in 2015 when I'm 23.

Oh wow... Why'd you get dismissed? I've realized they're very selective.

Yeah, the Royal Air Force Regiment are extremely fussy about who they recruit, more so than British Army or Royal Marines / Royal Navy.

I got dismissed on grounds that I had an inhaler two years ago to check that I didn't have asthma.. Funnily enough, I didn't have asthma, but because I had the inhaler they dismissed me (Need to be clear for 5 years total - 3 years left for me) - I tried appealing to the Royal Air Force Medical Board, but they declined my application and said they'd give me a chance in 3 more years time..

It's a bit depressing as I was kind of riding on the fact I'd be getting in, but luckily I still I have a good full time job, so I can stay here for 3 years til I can reapply.

Good luck on your application into the USAF though, train hard and make sure it's what you want to do.
