What would you guys think of a simple cube map, that was totally dark, prolly a shotty and knife / just knife map.
All you would be able to see would be hooks flashing through the air.

I like the pitch black with just pumps/knife and hooks, but not so much the just cube. Maybe if you made a somewhat complex large room filled with things to get in the way, it'd be more interesting. Also, the occasional shaft of light would be cool in a way.

The only reason I would worry about the objects, is that nubblets would camp in the corners and shoot people. And would be difficult to see.

in that case, I'll light up the room, with a black light, so there are no shadows or anything. I think that takes gamma out of the picture.
