Post subject:  Read before posting: How to post in this section

-If you banned someone, please make a new post with the person's name and steam id in subject.

-If it is a timed ban put the UNBAN date in the subject also.

-You do not have to make a post for every person you banned, but it helps in the situation if they appeal to be unbanned (aka makes it easier for us to deny an unban).

-Simple (30min, etc) bans are not important to post here, unless that person is a repeat offender and you simply don't want to ban them yourself.

-In the body of the post you can tell us why you banned them.

-If you are appealing a ban please created your post like this
Subject: Appeal for "your name"

-If you know who banned you or why, feel free to private message that person here on the forums before you make this post, if you cannot work it out with that admin, please post here and state why you think you should be unbanned.

Players game name:
Steam-ID:
Reason of ban:
Unban date (if applicable):
Witnesses (if applicable):

If perm, perhaps screenshots or demos?

If you dont like this, you can delete it Cole.

I am cool with it, I think only suspected hackers need screenshots/demos, I trust my admins, if they simply copy/paste or tell on here why, that will be fine with me, but if you think a screen shot is needed (case-by-case) then put it.

Just wondering, is this forum supposed to be public or is it going to be for registered forum members later on

another question, is this where admins just post who they banned and why or can we also apply for someone to be banned?

Post subject:

Just for admins to post who is banned.

Otherwise it will just get out of hand.

Yep, admins should be the only one posting, unless it is a request for unban.

Also, I think it should be public, but what do you think?

Post subject:

Umm, public. I mean, if members and pubbers know about the players banned, then do it again when unbanned, they can post evidence and it should be taken from there.

what about if you want someone banned cuz they're being a douche and all that?

ex: oh em gee bbq

can we post it?

Author:  $torm [ Wed Sep 24, 2008 1:44 pm ]
Post subject:

Umm.

I think there should be a different section for that, perhaps a Sub-forum bit Cole?

Do it for maybe trusted pubbers and all members; just so that it doesnt get flooded by loads of new pubbers or newly joined to the forum people?

Request for bans should still go in the hacker section.
