Hey all.
Today, I went to Thorpe Park - Which is a theme park. Near the end of the day, myself and others went to the main dome, and they had a game box there with 4 Xbox 360's with Left 4 Dead 2.
We lan'd up doing a 4 man campaign. At first, it looked the same old stuff from Left 4 Dead, however I was wrong very quick.
We started off on a dock kinda thing, there are 3 weapons, two guns and a melee weapon. The melee weapon spawns differently each time. It's very good, because the graphics on the weapons are much better, and there is a much better selection of guns through out the campaigns.
Something which is also different in the campaign is for the fact that each time you play the level, it's different, as in theres different ways to go each time. It confused me at first, however I thought it was much better because you wouldn't get bored.
Theres also new zombies in the game, the main two I saw was there is one like the Hunter, but looks different and does a different move, and theres one like the boomer, but does a different attack.
The melee system is VERY funny, there are different tools you can use through the levels, few of the ones I used were: Guitar, Frying Pan, Machete and Baton. Each weapon does a different amount of damage (obviously)
I know that people were concerned about how it was coming out WAY to early, but to be honest. I can't actually wait, it is amazing. I enjoyed it much much more than the first L4D.
I'd certainly suggest buying it, I know I will be. But I'm sure you can check out different reviews too.
List of changes in L4D2:
New zombies
New guns
New Melee sytem and weapons
Different ways on the level each time
Great graphics
New voices
No more (PILLS HERE) I think, could be wrong though :P
If you wanna ask any question, i'll try and post back with what I know.
