Post subject:  L4D2, Inviting Friends
Yesterday I ran into a problem where it didn't allow me to invite friends to the current server I'm in. Luckily Cole was there to help me out, so I'm just here to post the solution he gave me.

Once you're in the server open up your friends tab(Shift+Tab), Then at the top go to "Status", click that and on the drop down menu click "Offline", then once you're offline, sign back into your friends tab my simply clicking "Online", then wala you can now invite your friends to the game.

Its some stupid glitch they need to fix or whatever, but thanks to Cole I can provide the help you need to inviting your friends.

Also, in my modded server, if you want to invite someone, L4D will see it as server full after 8 players, so to invite any more, either have them (in console) connect "IP#.#.#.#:port" or have them click your name, view game info, then hit join (inviting them, or them clicking join game will not work, it will tell them the server is full).
