the problem is, is that most people would recommend a custom built computer and while there ARE companies out there that will let you pick and choose what you want for your laptop, it will cost you an insane amount of money to do so. SO, what we are proposing is to make a GREAT desktop for the same amount and buy a cheap laptop w/ the savings and you have the best of both worlds.

Cole/Penguin/Display possibly others could walk you through a building process that would cost you EASILY $600+ LESS for the desktop equivelant which would now afford you a good cheap laptop.
