Just reset your router/modem, run virus scans and spyware scans, defrag your computer, defrag CS then try.

defrag your computer like storm said

do this, click run and type in Disk Defragment and do it, while it's doing it's shit, click run again and type in Disk Cleanup and i always check off all of them and delete, i just did Disk Cleanup and got 6.06 GB back on to my comp

I have ping problems too. It's usually because i have a browser open and im downloading stuff. Otherwise, its just too many ppl in the server.

Oh, and Bob check that your rates, cl_cmdrate and cl_updaterate.

Your rates should be set between 25000-35000, with your cmdrate and updaterate at about 45.

Well i havnt tried that only because i lagg in all my Steam based games. Not just CZ.
