Ok, so, i dled Vista Ultimate and i'm thinking if i replace my Home Premium edition with that, my settings will be at like, 100%? (new registry basically? or will i stick with it and with new registry? or just old registry?)

If you put upgrade instead of clean reisntall, then it should keep old settings. just in case use transfer tool to save user settings ing a cd or flash drive.
