Hi, I got a pretty lousy laptop (Vista), I was wondering if it would make my computer better ingame CZ or whatever - if I 'downgraded' from Vista to XP. Could my computer take it? Or should i then get a new hardrive?

Any help would be nice. :)

You'd have to do the research the on the requirements for both products, compare them.

I'd probably say XP, depending if you can get it. I heard that Vista takes up more RAM than XP.

alot of laptop manufacturers are no longer making the xp drivers needed to convert the laptop to xp.

I had a toshiba satellite about a year and a half ago, that the drivers just didn't exist. :(

despite that,

Please don't fall into the "vista sucks" pit. It's a great OS and since SP1 was released, IMHO is better than XP for a home environment. With that being said, unless you have a domain in your house.... you should be good.

Thanks and have a nice day...
