it didnt say "Reported forgery" on it when I went. It looked exactly like the steam website that you would normally go to (steampowered.com)

i logged in the site and it said I was logged in. Then while I was playing in Splak, I got disconnected 5 mins later. I checked my e-mail and that came up however I never changed my password.

Yeah, but let's say he uses the same password for a number of things - they could get the other stuff unless he changes it. If the new pass is too simple, they could crack the password using a dictionary list and well, yeah. I wouldn't take the risk of NOT using a secure one.

Mine is random letters and numbers, 26 chars lol.

The best password is one with Upper case letters, lower case letters, and a number. Also it's got to be something complicated that people cannot related it to you. The password doesn't have to be long. Something along 6-12 characters should be fine. Also passwords are worthless if your going to put them to phishing sites.

Ok, I'm trying to change my password. There's a verification number and secret answer that Steam support gave me through e-mail.

Secret Answer: Dans quelle ville êtes-vous né ?

Whenever I try pasting he Secret Answer, all the E's witht he accent marks disappear. It becomes this: Dans quelle ville tes-vous n ?

I tried again thinking that Steam will send my a new secret answer and password but it's the same one.
I also tried replacing the accent marked e's with regular e's and that phailed.

I'm sending so many e-mails to Steam hoping a solution will work. Watch it not work...
