Okay, so I just turned on my computer and walked into the other room to watch tv while it started up. All of the sudden, I heard this loud beeping sound. I thought it was the show i was watching in till I paused it. I walked over to my computer and the screen was black and it was just making this obnoxious beep that sounded like a car or house alarm. I just restarted and it stopped, but does anyone know wtf that was? lol???

Overheat alarm? when is the last time you cleaned your cpu heatsink? I clean my computer monthly with my air compressor. |

Its possible it overheated... I download GTA4 from Steam yesterday. It was VERY laggy. My computer never laggs. Hmmm... What's a cpu heatsink? |

lmfao watch me have it.  Naw, i don't even know what it is... Well i assume it's a fan, but to me, a fan is a fan. Psssssssssh it blows air. Big deal.
