Ok so, I got it to recognize my hardbdrive as master on channel 2. Now I'm reformatting it and hoping that it works. If it doesn't does anyone have an idea other than my motherboard is messed up?

Nvmnd it works now. I found out that the Sata connection had a little tear so I switched it and now it is working fine with Xp on it. Just waiting for Xp to update it self and I will be on soon!
