Post subject:  Got a laptop!!!!!
Well, it was my birthday on tuesday, august 4th, so the week before, on saturday i went and got a Mac Pro, the latest they have and the best one ( just cause it was tax free weekend and i mainly wanted an ipod touch..) But this will be my college laptop in 2 years so yeah.. Until then i can use it for my needs/wants. I know there's a way to play cs and all on it since the person at apple told me i could use both windows and OS X. Meaning i can instal steam whenever i want to. I tried it today though and i couldn't find a way. I don't need any programs since it's compatible but i know that i just can't figure out a way to install it. If you guys could help me, I'd very much appreciate it!! And i'm getting a mouse and from now on i'm so playing in D3D since i have a nVIDIA G-FORCE 9400-M (if that's any good!) so i'll be hopefully getting better and will be able to sneak on at night >:)

Well, its called a bootcamp when it has both OS's on it.

Look it up on that.

Also, there is a way you can play it without installing windows. I don't know how to do it, but one of the members I think use mac. I'm not sure.

without installing windows you can use crossover, which uses wine instead. but crossover is shit.

boot camp is alright but will not work if you dont have a completely legit windows CD for it. burning an iso to a disk will not work.

i use parallels. i prefer it over bootcamp.

im working on a guide for bob the banana's friend. ive just been too lazy to finish. i have a .zip of everything you will need but you can buy it if you want. otherwise wait like a week and ill have everything you'll need.

macs are absolutely not the best. i would have rathered my dad gave me the 2k to build a computer.
