So for years I've managed to play in the pub lag free but in the last 2 weeks I suddenly get lag.

Its not a virus as all my other games are fine.

Has something been done changed to the server? is there anyway I can fix this?

Its rather annoying.

I once had a problem like this when I was stationed in Georgia. My ping ran around 64 and then it started to jump up to around 170 and caused lag. I contacted steam support and they tried to help me by changing options and deleting crap in the folders and nothing worked. They then told me to reinstall Steam, so I did and that fixed the problem.

My FPS is like 60

played on my friends computer too and my dads there all getting annoying bits of lag from the pub now.
