Post subject: | Networking Problems |
For some reason my network is really slow. I have around 3 computers connected to it and all of them are blinking constantly even when there is no activity on the computers. I already scanned my computer with avast! butand found pretty much nothing. The wireless however works fine. Mone o fthe computers cant connect at all and my computer is kinda slow and has terrible upload speed. Anyone know what's going on? I personally think it could be the router's Ethernet ports that are messed up or something. |

He is talking about his internal network... not external. |

The upload speed has gone up but is still fairly low. Also, now Im also able to connect to the other computer but connection drops everyone once in a while. |

How are you connecting 1 computer to the other (software wise). I share a folder, then go to the other computer and do a start/run "\\computername" then explore the folder/drag/drop. |

I share folders using windows permissions and crap and then just map the rive. I fixed by just switching routers :\ The only problem is that this router sucks for wireless so I got to call verizon for a new one. |

I <3 Chris. I didn't think anyone else watched the IT crowd. Moss wrote: Subject: Fire. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to inform you of a fire that has broken out on the premises of 123 Cavendon Road... no, that's too formal.
[deletes text, starts again] Fire - exclamation mark - fire - exclamation mark - help me - exclamation mark. 123 Cavendon Road. Looking forward to hearing from you. Yours truly, Maurice Moss. [sigh of relief] **Edit* Those who don't get it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqQ6Z-HmAqY |

couldn't you barrow another network router from someone to make sure yours isn't being a gay little piece of equipment trash? If it is I highly think you should take it and smash it on the floor, then go and buy a new one. you're welcome for the help! |
