Um, well the only two that come to mind, that aren't virus infested ploys, is McAfee's Stinger and Trend Micro's HouseCall.

Also some good free spyware programs are: Spybot, CCleaner, and CWShredder.

A great diagnostic tool is HiJackThis, which can rid of a lot of nasty things.

A good retail spyware program is AdAware.

And pretty much the best anti-virus that I've used, to date, is Kaspersky.

Only use HiJackThis if you fully understand how to use it, and if you can read what it is saying to you in the log file. You can fuck stuff up easily if you do it incorrectly.

Avast is free. That's what I use. I also use Threatfire to back up Avast. That's what threatfire is good for.

AhnLab V3 Internet Security 7.0

this is very good one, doesn't bother you like other ones, It is restrict against File Sharing, like via LAN, and I never had a problem with Virus trojans

I still use F-Secure Client Security. I get it free from my university and they use it so I figure it must be pretty good.
