That would be a PC. I was getting worried you were trying to buy a Central Processing Unit(CPU) for $500.00. |

9500 cards are not gaming cards. I just ordered my computer from them about 2 weeks ago and my computer just came in yesterday. ![]() So heres the case for $399. http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/AMD_ ... figurator/ What I would do is take out everything that's not needed that cost extra money(speakers, mouse, keyboard), and upgrade your processor to the 250 for an extra $6, then upgrade your video card to whatever you want. I suggest the 9800 or something in that price range because itll leave you at $450 exactly, and shipping for me was $65 so I don't know what itll be for you, but at least that will be around $500 and you can just save up extra lunch money or something to pay off the rest. Ohh and downgrade your case to NXZT M59 so you can save $5 |

^ From what I've seen on many different forums is that the 9500 is a gaming card, which is very good. The 9400 isn't. |

Really? I know that 9400's aren't gaming cards, but when I searched it up before your post I saw people saying that the 9500's aren't gaming cards? haha |

8800gt, 9600gt, or gts240 are the bare minimum nvidia cards I would spend money on, if you want to play a game on them 9500gt is less than HALF the power of a 9600gt, and a 9600gt cannot run modern games on full settings at full frames. |

7900gt = 7200mp/s 9000mt/s 42.2gb/s 9500gt = 4400mp/s 8800mt/s 16.0gb/s-ddr2 25gb/s-ddr2 Infamous speaks the truth. The 7900gt (released q1 2006) will give you about 1.5 to 2x the performance of the 9500, and is cheaper. |

Well I guess Im gonna spend 650 all in all, degraded the case and upgraded to NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 512MB 16X PCI Express and 4 GB of ram. Also upgraded the processor for $6 and upgraded the cpu. Is the GTS 250 worth the money and what does the 512 MB in the vid card do is it like extra ram? |

Is the GTS 250 worth the money and what does the 512 MB in the vid card do is it like extra ram? Don't worry about the Graphics ram, its not important, unless its really low, and no one sells a good gaming card with too little ram (less than 512), but what do they do is sell it with too much ram (1gb+) which does NOT speed up the game at all, but does support super high resolutions (like 4000x2000) which your monitor will not support. And yes, a GTX250 is a good card, I have 2 of them (more or less) in my computer. |
