Post subject: My speakers don't work anymore..

I plugged in the USB and the Green plug that goes into the back of my computer (Sorry for vagueness) and I tried updating my sound card drivers through intel (I have some shitty on-board sound card) but it says unknown for my sound card. Any ideas?

What is your motherboard model?
