When I tryed to boot up my computer this morning it turned on like normall but the monitor just goes into power saving mode. Im going to see if its just the monitor but ive googled about it and people are sayin it is fried. Any help?

First of all, do you have a video card that its not integrated on the motherboard? If you do, try connecting the monitor the integrated video card. It sounds like its your video card that might be fried or it may have come loose. Just in case I would test the monitor with another computer.

I am about to, But the computer has a integrated graphics card. The way it happened, I was playing cs last night turned off the computer regulary, woke up turned it on had some stuff on the screen decided to reboot and it does the black screen thing.

I sent it to a local company that fixes computers, bought a Quad Core HP For $800, even with Integrated Graphics its pretty straight. Windows Seven is also ALOT better than Vista, kinda glad the old one broke down. Lock pls. New computer works on the monitor.
