Recently I built a new computer, but for some odd reason, I lag when watching videos(Takes a long time to buffer) and run a flash game ( Things lag in game, mouse freezes over that window)? Virus? Internet? ??? |

Make sure you aren't running an AV scan. Update anything which needs to be updated. Clean cookies, disk clean up. Check for dust inside the tower, (fans etc) CPU usage when trying to watch videos? |

change your dns server from whatever it is to 8.8.8.8 That is google's new DNS IP. Youtube is WAY slow on att's dns, so, i changed it, and it has made a huge difference. |

How do I do this? sorry for late reply, and stormzz, it's relatively new, so all updates are up to date as well as I cleaned it, as for CPU usage when I am watching vids its at ~14-20% Also, I am receiving a lil popup saying that my NVIDIA graphics card stopped responding when this happens All my programs go unresponsive? help T_T |

Omg, Chris I love you. I had no idea about DNS, but I searched google and changed my dns and I noticed the changes in speed. It is amazingly fast right now, I would give you +10 karma, but I don't have access to it. |
