I don't have Norton or anything and tbh I don't like Norton anyways. But what can I use for protection? free stuff would be nice. |

Atm I currently have this for my setup: AVG Windows Defender Spybot Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - This doesn't spot anything incoming, but if you run it now and then it can sort out anything if you're infected. Just having that seems to keep my computer clean |

AVG has become useless imho. I have been changing clients to Microsoft Security Essentails for free, and Spyware Doctor with AV for paid. Both have great reviews. For computers already infected, i use Combofix, and Malwarebytes. |

I use Comodo. It's free and comes with a firewall that stops so much crap that it angers me sometimes. http://www.comodo.com/ Avast is also good. http://www.avast.com/ Threatfire is a good program as well, but it is designed to back up your current antivirus. It's a shame that I can't use it anymore. It worked well until I started getting kicked by punkbuster and their gay little errors and tickets. http://www.threatfire.com/ |

I use exactly what storm uses. Haven't had a virus in a long time. |

I used to use Trend Micro on my old computer, decided to get the newer version on my new computer, it's kinda confusing, it turns off randomly, and when it's done a scan and see like a virus, it doesn't tell you whether it got rid of it or you have to get rid of it yourself, I don't really recommend Trend Micro >_> |

For windows 7 I just use windows security essentials since it's free and it's one of the top rated anti virus. It also uses very little resources and it's free. Before I got that I used pandacloud anti virus. I really don't need an antivirus though. |

I have Avast and I'm fine with it. I also use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware once in a while to delete those infected files. I see a lot of people use AVG but I have no idea how well it works. I've used Kapersky in the past and definitely recommend it. |
