I just bought an HP quad core with 8G of Ram a few weeks ago, and I was wondering if the ATI Radeon HD 4350 was an ok graphics card?
I know its better than integrated but do I need to upgrade to play LFD2 and other new steam games?

I think that one is actually better than GTX 260? I remember this guy at Memory Express told me this one was better cuz it was already overclocked, not sure if it was this model, but ATI Radeon is pretty good (according to the reviews I read)

GTX260 42,000mt/s 112gb/s
HD4350 2,400mt/s 8gb/s

So not even close. The only ATI cards that beat the GTX260, is the HD5850 (pretty much even), and the HD5870 (beats it). In fact, its a $33 card, you need something $100+ to at least play the game on decent settings.

The HD4350 is pretty much equal to the power of ATI's on board card. On the 4 series you need at least a 47xx or 48xx to really play L4D, and on the 5 series a 57xx or a 58xx (A 56xx may get the job done, but not on full settings).

Keep in mind with ATI, the first number = the series (like the year model), the 2nd number = the level of the card of that series (1-9), the 3rd number = 50(regular) or 70 (faster), and the last number is normally a 0 (if it is a 5, its just a revised card).
5770 = 4870 in power

So if I ordered this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814187098 , I could
play LFD on a decent setting and hold 60 frames well?

Do you need a low profile card (because that is one)? If you read the review, it says that it does NOT include the low profile bracket, so this card is a low profile setup, but missing 1 part to make it low profile and will not fit... they fail.

If you don't need a low profile card but want a GTS250:

They are decent cards, for the price, also a 5750 would be around the same price and is slightly faster:
