Yeah, I know. It's not CZ related. Whatever.


Okay, so about a week ago AIM stopped letting me log in. It would always time out. So I kept trying for a while.

Yesterday I uninstalled. When I tried re-installing, it told me that it was having a hard time making a connection or some BS and quit on me. Gave me a desktop icon to resume download. Tried. Failed. Repeatedly.

Tried using AIM express. Won't work.

W.T.F?

Sounds like your firewall has some beef with it. Make sure theres nothing blocking your aim connection to the rest of the world wide web (ie. firewalls).

How do I do this? Anyways, my firewall is supposed to let things ask me for permission to access the WWW....

Okay, so I turned off my firewall and it worked.

But then, I turn it back on, and I can't sign on again.

I try allowing it to do things the same way I got TS to work, but it still won't sign me in...*sigh*

Atleast TS signs on now...Still, it'd be nice to know how I can get AIM to work again...

And why did my firewall all of a sudden decide to go spaz on me? It used to ask me for my permission for programs...

usually they have a list of programs that are blocked and allowed, try checking that out, see if aim is blocked (which it is)
