Yes, it will run, you will just will either have to run at a lower resolution and/or medium settings. But before you buy it, get fraps, open then, minimize it. Open the demo and play it, fraps will put the fps in the corner of your screen. Play the game at your monitors max resolution, and mess with the settings and see if you can get a fps higher than 40, if you cant, lower the resolution some (keep the same aspect ratio, so its not all stretched), and try again. Once you get it to be higher than 40 most of the time, you should have a fps lag free game.

I can max the game out... except not max physx, but I can run it on medium, playable. You have to run a 2nd card to run physx on high, and max out all settings, so keep that setting off.

I got at 1920x1200 on the benchmark tool
physx off = 62
medium = 33.7
high = 31.5

But in game it was 10fps all the time with it set on high, so I dropped it to medium and got 30-40, was kinda choppy.

With physx off, the requirements are not bad:

Minimum System Requirements
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP (SP2 or later) / Windows Vista / Windows 7
Processor: Pentium D 3Ghz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ (Dual core) or higher
RAM: 1.5 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 / ATI HD 2600 Pro or better
Hard Disc Space: 8 GB
Sound Card: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
Peripherals: Keyboard and mouse or Windows compatible gamepad

Recommended System Requirements Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP (SP2 or later) / Windows Vista / Windows 7
Processor: 2.4 GHz Quad Core processor
RAM: 2 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX / ATI Radeon HD 3870 or better
Hard Disc: 10 GB
Sound Card: 100% DirectX 9.0c compliant card
Peripherals: Keyboard and mouse or Windows compatible gamepad

If you want to use PHYSX/APEX Enhancements
System requirements

Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP (SP2 or later) / Windows Vista / Windows 7

I'm able to run everything on max with physx on low with a constant 60 fps and I would say the graphics designers did an AMAZING job on the game. The textures of the mountain, streets, buildings, and especially the water looks outstanding. Also, yes you can definitely run it, but there is one mission that everyone gets terrible fps on. Its the mission that the building is burning. I was getting about 30 fps on that mission it was pretty irritating.
