CPU:
Xeon X3350 quad core 2.66ghz:

My chip is the high end version of the Q9450:
2.66ghz http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819115042

Which has been replaced by a slightly up-clocked Q9550 2.83ghz $275:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819115041

And here is the next step down 2.5ghz (with less cache) $230:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819115043

So all in all, this chip would be sold for the $230-275 range.

Motherboard:
The board is DFI X48 T2R:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813136046
I paid about $320 for this board, its still selling for ~130+ It was the highest end board you could buy for a socket 775 chip.

Ram:
8GB of DDR2-1066 g.skill (4 sticks of 2GB)
2x: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820231166
~$180 worth of memory.

Currently in my computer (pictured is with my older video card):

I will throw in a NEW Zalman cnps-9700 cpu cooler, with gelid thermal paste and overclock the chip to ~3.0ghz for free
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... -_-Product
$45

So if someone has a older setup and wants a good deal to upgrade to a quad with 8gb of ram, ready to go, let me know. This setup is not for a dell/hp box, this is only for people who have a proper case with a non-crap power supply.

If someone would also like a entire computer built around this setup, it could be done for cheap, like another $200 for case/powersupply/Hard drive/DVD, and throw in whatever video card you want (GTX460 768mb can be had for under $170) and you will have a computer that will run everything out, flat out.

I am selling this because I came across a killer deal for a motherboard, and can spend about $600 total to upgrade, and want to re-coupe some of my losses, and give someone a good deal at the same time. I am trying to sell this stuff locally, but though I would offer the deal to splakkers.

Sold to .Splak|Doppleganger (a good friend of mine), replacing his first gen Core2duo with this (plus a new PSU and hard drive).

I ordered some awesome parts, new water cooling goodies, hoses, fittings, coolant, lights, new board, processor, ram. Its going to be a Core I7 950 running 4.0-4.6ghz range.
