As you should of seen, i did post how to fix it on the old forums. But as im kind, il post it again. This is where you C:\ is 
Then go Program Files > Valve > Steam (You might not have a Valve file, it could just be Steam) Look for ClientRegistry.blob and Delete it Open steam up again and it should be fine. BEFORE YOU DO ABOVE HAVE STEAM CLOSED SO ITS NOT RUNNING I did have the same trouble as you, I done the stuff above and it worked perfectly. |

You only need to delete it, if you steam comes up with error messages, and if you tried restarting steam but still happens. |

u dont need a code thingy, just uninstall, then go on the steam web site and reinstall it. log in, and reinstall all ur games. I dont think ur screwed man. |

yeah, you don't need a code thing 
uninstall it, go to steam website, install it, type username and password back in = playtime with counter-strike. |
