Over the next few months I plan on slowy getting all the parts to build my first pc Im getting sick of this computer the case is just too small and I want to generally do this as a sorta hobbie. When it comes to the parts I should get it seems a bit complicated though I was hoping one of you could put together a list for a computer for around $600 - $700 that will last.

It all needs to be parts that I can easily find and order in the UK also.

Can you link me to some stores so I can find parts there for ya.

Also, big jumps in CPU and GPU tech this spring if you are looking to build soon.

Ohh, so that's why you asked about pc websites for parts. Makes sense...

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/

Is a good website too, never purchased components from them, though they are highly recommended from friends and review websites.

See if you can find these for cheaper, but these are really nice cases. My roommate has one (the black one) if you want pics. It was on newegg sale for like $70 USD (half off), on black Friday.

Google tells me £84 on Ebuyer is the cheapest around its good looking but is it worth the moneys?

This is the best case for under $150usd. According to google, that is $130 here, and its the same price on newegg ($140-10 rebate). This case is much better built and flows more air than the popular coolermaster HAF 932 which typically sells at the same price or more (unless on sale).

Try to find a sale from now until you start to buy your parts.

Found the same case as Cole on his previous post -

EBUYER.COM - £105 - http://www.ebuyer.com/254370-coolermast ... 32-kkn5-gp

I'll recommend them 100%

Right, but the HAF is £105, and the Corsair is £85.

They have very similar in size, the corsair is slightly smaller, but makes better use of the space
22.70" x 9.00" x 21.50"
20.50" x 8.10" x 20.00"

The Corsair cases are steel, and much better built.

My mistake Cole, I just re-read your original post and saw the statement: "This case is much better built and flows more air than the popular coolermaster HAF 932 which typically sells at the same price or more (unless on sale)."

Go with Ebuyer then Scott for the £84 Case. It'll most likely be the cheapest & most reliable place to purchase it from.

Most expensive parts will most likely be your mobo/CPU following by your G CARD

This is my normal budget on a PC when recommending for someone, I normally try to find sales, and can knock $100-200 ish off the total price.

$150 case
$200 board
$200 cpu
$200 gpu
$50 ram
$100 psu
$50 hard drive
$20 dvd burner

Optional:
$150 120GB SSD
$50 CPU cooler

This will take me some time to get all the parts after I get that case ill ask what to get next.

++will I be able to easily put my extra hard drive from this computer into the new one? I need a lot of storage as I record a lot of games footage.

Should be able to put your extra hard drive into the new one as long as its a standard one, which it most likely is. So yes, you can use it (Just gonna have to make sure the PSU can handle it, and MOBO i believe)
