I've been quite poor in recent months when it comes to backing up my hard drives, unfortunately. But as I need to create more room on my secondary drive, I'm wanting to back up most of the information I want onto a external 2TB hard drive I bought a month or so ago.
Now, for most backs up I know that you tend to have to restore the image to be able to access any information inside. However, I'd like to still be able to access all the information at any time once I plug the external drive in. I'm guessing I would probably need a type of cloning software, as I'm currently manually copying over the files which are taking time and I have to constantly be checking up on it.
- Is there any software you would recommend for cloning a drive or parts of a drive to be put on to an External hard drive?
- Is there any tips and tricks you would recommend, if there is an easier way of doing this?
Any help would be fully appreciated
