Hypothetically speaking, if one were to try to "pirate" a game such as---Oh, I don't know...Half-Life: Opposing Force and Half-Life: Blue Shift...Because one is too cheap to pay the 9 dollars...And you downloaded the files from a site, but they won't let you install because the directory is not valid or the game version installed does not match. How would one fix that problem?
Hypothetically speaking, two symbols appear in the download folder representing OF and BS. However, Half-Life_full_nonsteam appears as a white box with blue at the top, and when you open it, it shows a black box then promptly dissapears...
All of this, of course, only hypothetically speaking. I'm not saying that I have ever tried any of this...
