Post subject:  CL_FlushEntityPacket
Whenever I am playing every once in awhile my ping shoots up to 1k-5k. It also gives me a Warning that says "Warning: CL_FlushEntityPacket". Anyone know what's wrong and how to fix it?

I know that this is off topic, but just to let you know, if you have an extremely long link like storm posted, I suggest using http://www.tinyurl.com/ :wink: and I get that on my laptop too sometimes, I think its a lagg problem or something.

yeah this happens to me alot, its one of the 3 reasons i lag

1. this flushentitypocket thing
2. my dad unplugs internet
3. i just lag :D

CL_flushentitypacket happens BECAUSE OF a bad connection. It goes hand in hand with your ping.

If you're on a shitty connection, you'll get that error message all the time. Means that more information needs to come in than your connection/pc can handle. Hence why it probably freezes on you when that error comes up.

It might not be just your connection, i use it get it all the time with my laptop, since i got a new computer i never get it. So it could just be your computer.

I got a new Hard Drive. My comp holds 40 gig and I got a new 250 gig hard drive. Could this help at all?

My comp is the same.. It might help kill most ping but the minor ping (50s-300s) are affected by location and the rest are computer and connection.

How much space your pc has is not the prob.

It's the Processor/Ram or your internet connection.
